Dear Newcomb Families,

Welcome to a brand new school year at Marcus W. Newcomb Middle School! I am truly excited to begin this journey together with you and your children. Each school year brings fresh opportunities for growth, learning, and connection—and I can’t wait to see what we will accomplish as a school community.

This year, our theme is “Game On!”—a reminder that every day is a chance to show effort, teamwork, and perseverance. Our staff has been working hard to prepare engaging lessons, build a supportive environment, and ensure that every student feels safe, valued, and challenged.

We encourage you to stay involved, whether by attending school events, supporting learning at home, or reaching out with questions or ideas. Strong family-school partnerships make a huge difference in student success, and your voice matters here at Newcomb.
